GUIDING INTELLECTUAL RESPONSIBLE LEADERS MOTIVATING ASPIRING DETERMINED GIRLS EVERYWHERE

GIRL MADE sports is a 501C3 nonprofit organization that focuses on the development of future female leaders of the world utilizing the avenues of sports and mentorship. Our mission is to provide development opportunities to grade school girls in urban settings via access to athletic programming, academic support, and informal workshops.

Executing our Mission

Throughout the year, we offer a number of athletic opportunities that enable our girls to learn the sports they’re interested in without the pressure of competing to join a team. Overall, we work to meet our students where they’re at athletically while also offering exposure to a variety of sports.

We currently offer a basketball tournament series throughout the summer months. The tournaments offer our students a platform to showcase their talents and build their confidence through competitive and well organized high quality sports programming.

Our academic component is the icing on the cake and helps to tie in the lessons that our students learn to everyday life. This includes mentorship, academic support, and exposure to a number of experiences to help our girls dream bigger.

Our Vision

Our goal is to expand to offering year round sports leagues in a variety of different sports. With funding from generous donors, we plan to provide our programming to schools that may otherwise not have the opportunity to offer this. We also plan to strengthen our student to mentor pipeline with concrete year round employment opportunities for our graduates. We will do so utilizing partnerships with other community organizations and additional funding from generous donors.
